花，可以說是世界上最美好的事物之一，讓我們有起身離開床褥的動力為了細品一親芳澤;讀書寫案腦袋打結時花朵安撫了我們的神經，關於花朵的故事真的很多，有無數個關鍵字像是脆弱、紅顏、易逝、愛情、花語等，所以我很容易被和花素材有關的事吸引，有關花的書籍、花設計的文具雜物、花的衣服等，恩當然還有花朵本身。花朵也常常與女人聯想在一起，似乎當兩物結合能夠同時展現性格以及靈魂 ，大家也是這麼認為嗎？幾天前我和朋友去參觀義大利女畫家Brigitta Rossetti的畫展，這是她第二次來台展出，延續以花卉為主、充滿文字詩意的古典浪漫風格外，也注入關心宇宙和生命個體的思維，將大自然、人性、動物等元素納入作品中，以夢境詮釋人在迷失自我的過程中可藉由詩集或古典文學的文字讓內心更強大。對於Rossetti來說，使用過的物品或是生活中的器物都可以是她的靈感來源，透過她獨到的直覺以及熟練的技巧賦予作品全新生命和希望。新作取材自日常生活的圓鏟和天秤等現成物件，再融入擅長的花卉圖騰、古典文字等，反映她內心的浪漫與懷舊追憶，亦創造出一個給觀者發揮想像力、漫遊於夢境的空間和一趟自我探索的流浪旅程。

Continuing her classic and romantic style based on the flower, literature and poetry, her inspiration of work extends further from the universe and life; the elements of nature, human and animal are also merged into the new work. For Rossetti, any used material or the object from daily life could be her source of creation. It's another step forward in her creation that she combines the painting with readymade objects that leads audience to another artistic imagery. With words symbolizing the seeds that could grow as flowers in the dream, Rossetti directs a poetic journey of self-discovery that viewers could explore their own wonderland.
